Western Chili

Western Chili

2 lb hamburger
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 tsp chili powder
16 oz can kidney beans
3/4 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp mustard
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cups water
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce

Brown beef. Drain. In 1 Tbsp of grease, saute onion, peppers, celery, and
chili powder until veggies are soft. REturn meat to skillet. Add remaining
ingredients. Simmer, stirring frequently, 1 hour, or until thick. Can also be used for sloppy joes.
